Our vision for sustainability is in keeping with the UN Sustainable Goals: we actively work towards Net Zero; we aim to be a better keeper of the environment by reducing our Scope 3 emissions, from purchased goods and services; we will work with and invest in local communities and urban spaces to promote sustainable measures. We go for direct offsetting methods, including payments to the likes of The Woodland Trust for their tree planting projects.  In the previous year, Platform actively participated by planting 120 trees and hedgerows at Platt Primary School. This year, as part of our ongoing relationship with the Royal Parks, we will be sponsoring part of their biodiversity initiative and we will muck in once more, helping to plant trees and bulbs to enhance the climate resilience of Greenwich Park for future generations.  

To ensure that we are truly working towards Net Zero, our sustainability progress will be reassessed quarterly at our company reviews. Every member of staff is encouraged to consider how we can reduce our impact and can suggest ways to help with our sustainable vision. We will report and evaluate our performance, adjusting the approach to ensure continuous improvement in 2024 and beyond.
