Platform acted as development advisor for Northwood Investors’ repositioning of the historic Imperial Riding School hotel in Vienna.  Working with Northwood and their operational partner Event Hotels through the design, procurement and construction phases, a tired asset was transformed into a luxurious hotel within Marriott’s Autograph Collection.  With parts of the original building linked back to Emperor Franz Joseph I and his wife Sisi, the interior design blends elements of this rich heritage with contemporary elegance and hospitality. 

340 guestrooms and suites were comprehensively refitted and the public areas transformed with a stunning arrival space, bar and restaurants, complemented by wellness, spa and outdoor dining amenities.  The hotel also boasts a large conference and banqueting floor that can flexibly accommodate business meetings and conferences as well as large wedding and celebration events.
