Platform was appointed by the Royal Opera House to manage the preparation of a feasibility study for their ‘Open Up’ initiative, which comprised:

• a reconfigured entrance foyer and front of house facilities
• Linbury Theatre
• new publicly accessible restaurants and roof level terraces

To help inform the final proposals, we advised on appointments of the design team, established the programme for the study, managed the preparation of the design reports for the study, and procured initial investigation and survey works.

Having worked closely with the design team and a variety of departments within the Royal Opera House, a feasibility report was completed in the summer of 2014 providing a robust foundation on which the client could proceed to build.
